Closure
Closure is a very essential part of a well-organized and planned lesson. A lesson's closure allows both teachers and students to reflect on meaningful learning experiences, allows learners to exhibit their understandings and misunderstandings regarding important content, concepts, and skills, and teachers the opportunity to formatively assess their students and further guide/differentiate their instruction. Please see the examples below for key tools that may be utilized and implemented during lesson closures with a 3rd Grade Mathematics Class.
