The tools identified on this page will be beneficial in identifying and explaining how we will often share and participate in class assignments and discussions. Please check this page regularly for updates and or essential information.

Description-The tools described on this page are being used as example tools for implementation in a 4th Grade Mathematics Class. The tools provided on this page are examples of how we will share and discuss the many assignments and activities we will explore and conquer together as a team.

Tool 1-Utilized to gather and display student/group work.
We will be using Google Drive frequently to create, complete, and share assignments. All students will be assigned Google accounts and will be invited to participate in Google Classroom and Google Meet. Students will be able to view assignments, complete assignments, participate in class discussions, provide feedback, and join in during live classroom discussions and learning/exploration sessions all through their Google Drive accounts. The link below will be utilized to get the "math ball rolling"!

Tool 2-Utilize a shared space for students to share ideas.
We will be using Padlet frequently to share ideas and new findings related to 4th Grade Mathematics! Padlet is an excellent tool for sharing ideas, new learnings, and amazing discoveries. Students will be able to actively participate and share with their classmates with a click of the mouse! Words, images, files, links, etc. can easily be shared with all members of our class to enhance and transform learning. This will be utilized mostly during online class sessions to share our learning in a collaborative setting. Please see the link below to start sharing!

Tool 3-Utilize a shared space for students to orally explain mathematical findings, questions, and ideas.
We will be using Screencastify to record short videos of our math findings/discoveries, voice our questions and/or concerns, and to share any ideas we may have to improve our work as mathematicians. What's even cooler is that our Screencastify videos will go directly to our Google Drive...making them super-duper easy to share with our classmates. Students won't need a Screencastify account or the Screencastify extension installed to make a video. They'll use their school Google account to sign in and record 🚀. Once they log in, they'll turn on their mic and webcam, and hit record to start! Please see the sample link below!

We will be utilizing Jamboard in our classroom to collaborate and work together as a team! Jamboard is a perfect application to utilize when working on essential mathematical reviews, open-ended math problems, and hands-on activities. This application will allow students to virtually share their ideas, thoughts, graphics, etc. from pretty much anywhere! Our kiddos will be able to access and use Jamboard from their Google accounts and/or by utilizing provided links to a specific Jamboard. This will be an excellent tool to extend our thinking, sharing, and collaborative processes with our peers! Please see the link below for a great example.
